Ingrid Riley is a tech evangelist, entrepreneur, digital marketing strategist, blogger and speaker.
As a Caribbean Internet pioneer, she been in the industry for just over ten years, and has worked with more than 30 companies on successful Digital Marketing solutions; has helped over promote 70 Caribbean Tech Startups by connecting them to opportunities via educational and networking tech events and tech media. She has also been directly active in the development of over 5 Caribbean Startups with her role as mentor, marketer and investor.
She also developed Jamaica’s first Internet Guide in 1999 which won a National Press Association of Jamaica award for Innovation in Media; has written over 900 articles on Caribbean Internet Trends, Internet marketing and Internet Startups; has been a Dow Jones syndicated technology columnist; lectured on Social Media Marketing and Digital Communications at the the University of West Indies ( Carimac) and University of Technology Jamaica. She also served on the executive board of C.I.T.O- the State owned, Central Information Technology Office.
Ingrid is an unapologetic tech evangelist on a mission to drive tech entrepreneurship in Jamaica and across the Caribbean. She’s also a rabid Seth Godin, Oprah Winfrey,Steve Jobs and Gary Vaynerchuk fan girl.
