Our Events feature the most exciting gatherings of tech and business professionals; tech entrepreneurs, developers and designers; digital creatives and investors. We currently produce an annual slate of 10 technology focused events.
For the Caribbean Tech Community
We produce a slate of meetups, conferences and educational events for Jamaican and Caribbean entrepreneurs, developers and creatives who want to leverage the internet and mobile platforms to launch startups. We focus on tech entrepreneurship and how technology can be leveraged to create industry-changing products and successful companies.
We also believe that when you put a bunch of smart people in room amazing things happen, so the the community that is developing because of our networking events is powerful and significant. Our events bring the Caribbean Tech community together to learn, be inspired & network.

Kingston BETA is Jamaica’s Tech Community Meetup. It’s a tech event series that brings together aspiring and current Jamaican/Caribbean entrepreneurs, developers, designers, tech professionals and tech enthusiasts – To Learn. Be Inspired. To Network.
We provide the connections, content, insights, skills, resources and networks needed to launch a successful tech startup. We want to you to get connected. educated and inspired enough to go Build, Launch and Prosper.
The event has a BETA Pitch segment – that’s a platform for entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas that are tech driven or tech related. We’ve had over 50 events, 3,000 attendees and over 100 startups pitch their big ideas since it was launched in 2007.
Caribbean BETA – is the annual Tech Entrepreneurship conference where the smartest Caribbean minds in technology come to show and tell what they’re doing to change the world, to learn from other experts, be inspired and have fun networking to connect to talent, funding and opportunities. They also come to compete for the braggable to being Top Caribbean Startup to Watch with prizes of mentor and investor matching in addition to other prizes. It was launched in November 2011 and is held very November during Global Entrepreneurship Week in Kingston- the Tech, Music and Cultural Capital of Jamaica.
Startup Weekend Jamaica is a franchise from the Global company Startup Weekend. Startup Weekends are 54 hour events (experiential entrepreneurial education) where developers, designers, marketers, product managers, startup enthusiasts come together to share ideas, form teams, build products and launch startups.
BETA BootCamps is an educational workshop series (Face to face and online) for aspiring and emerging tech entrepreneurs, developers and digital creatives. The workshops are interactive training for individuals who want to learn from each other, industry thought leaders and successful entrepreneurs on how to take their ideas, launch and grow startup.
